Janet Lakhani
is multilingual, worked for thirteen years in international media,
specialising in Pan-Arab publications, travelling widely. Janet achieved SME business champion status with a series of awards
for best practice in Work Life Balance, as a pioneer for WLB in small
businesses with a multi-ethnic workforce. She is passionate
about promoting equality in the workplace following her involvement
with the ippr Race Equality Task Force as SME business champion. Janet is married to a Kenyan Asian,
and they have two children.

Allan Bouglas,
chartered accountant and business leader, fulfilled roles for many years
as both Finance Director and a Managing Director within industry.
Allan has worked with many SME’s and
Larger Companies in the UK, Europe, America and Australia. Allan has
assisted SME’s, on behalf of Scottish Enterprise.

David
Williams is an experienced Managing Director from within the
offshore and construction Industry throughout the world. For the
past 16 years he has successfully implemented a number of business
consultancy initiatives with both Blue Chip and SME funded
organisations at the request of the DTI and the Welsh Development
Agency as a IIP and ISO advisor.

Allan
and David have worked together on a number of government funded
initiatives in Manchester that include, Out of School Child Care,
Salford Way – (Women Returnees to Education and Employment) and
(Employment Placement of disadvantaged groups)
