Introduction to Site
 
◊ This Website has been developed for the use of all organisations, to enable them to implement the C2E Equality and Diversity programme.

Age, Disability, Gender reassignment, Marriage and Civil partnership, Pregnancy and maternity, Race, religion and belief, Sex and Sexual orientation.
 
◊ The information documented within these pages is based on a mixture of current diversity legislation from both the United Kingdom and Europe, good working practices and sound common sense.
 
◊ Because the issues associated with Equality are fluid every effort will be made to update the pages as appropriate.

Support
 
◊ C2E is a not for profit organisation, working through Equality Partners. Equality Partners deliver the training programmes, Diversity Assured support, audit and assessment for clients. These enable organisations to verify compliance with public sector statutory duties. C2E are responsible for review, accreditation and certification.
 
◊ Equality Partners will acknowledge your registration and send you a cost breakdown and timetable for your c2e accreditation. On acceptance, c2e will supply you with a password, giving your organisation access to the member’s support area of the c2e web site. Support comes in the form of an experienced advisor who will contact you once you have confirmed your acceptance to proceed to achieve accreditation.
 
◊ The advisors responsibility will be to help you, via e-mail and telephone, on the various requirements of the C2E programme over a pre agreed time-scale, normally 6 weeks. During an onsite visit the C2E advisor will review and audit your committed 2 equality procedures. Following the visit we will then confirm if your organisation has achieved C2E Accreditation.
